Who Created The 3 Week Diet Plan?
Okay, let me answer this briefly before we continue.
The 3-week diet system was created by Brian Flatt, a certified nutritionist, health coach and personal trainer.

The hard fact is this, you are what you eat, and there cannot be any substitute for that. But another fact also is this, most of us know what is healthy and what is unhealthy, regardless of that we still make unhealthy meal choices. Why? I can’t answer that because I also fall victim at times.
The meal plan is divided into phases starting with a cleansing phase, running through a fat melting phase and ending with a calorie regulating phase based on your basic metabolic rate.
Personally, I must say that I do not find the foods in the 3-week diet meal plan intriguing (unless maybe there is a revised version I am yet to read).
I mean, I don’t need a white and bushy haired(or probably bald) scientist to tell me veggies like broccoli and protein meals with reduced carb is a more healthy meal choice that can aid weight loss. Neither do I need to get any “special” manual to know this; these are facts that have been touted over and over again.
Rather, what I find interesting, is the meal plan. Perhaps one of the greatest challenges of eating healthy is the monotonousness associated with most healthy diet plans. The meal plan, however, gives a variety of healthy foods to choose from. Also, the certitude that this is a meal plan known to give proper health and healthy weight loss to others also goes a long way to motivate you to stay on course.
A plus for the 3-week diet meal plan is that with the help of Brian Flatt’s phenomenal 3- pound rule you learn to prevent weight regain and get to maintain your new weight for life.
On the downside, a few of the feedbacks received from our community members had to do with some of the restrictions that come with this diet plan.
And yes, this is partly understandable as even my 16-month-old niece no longer likes to be restricted to her cot. However, I also believe change always come with a sacrifice of escaping the comfort zone and losing weight or living a healthier life is no exception.
